David Dowland

David Dowland is currently the Secretary at BRAC University. Prior to this, they served as Registrar and Chief Operating Officer at the Asian University for Women from August 2018 to July 2020. From September 2016 to August 2018, they were the Academic Registrar at Southampton Solent University, where they led the university's 'Operating the Curriculum' reform programme. David has also served as Registrar and Director of Academic Services at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance from May 2009 to September 2016. In this role, they were responsible for academic administration and quality, student services and accommodation, timetabling and graduation ceremonies. David also successfully led the institution through the process of applying to HM Privy Council for indefinite Taught Degree Awarding Powers.
