Sanna Johnson

Sanna Johnson is the Director, Global Resource Mobilisation and Partnerships, BRAC International, based in the Netherlands.

Ms. Johnson’s career in senior leadership roles spans over 20 years across Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe. She has a successful career in fundraising, networking, advocacy and communication, people management, matrix and resource management. She has a proven track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies, creating growth for both humanitarian and development projects and empowering high performing teams in some of the world’s leading INGO’s, including The Red Cross, Save the Children and the International Rescue Committee. She has extensive work experience with institutional donors, such as FCDO, USAID, EU, ECHO, the Nordic institutional donors, German government, Australian Aid, Canada, UN agencies as well as private foundations in the US, Gulf states and Europe.

Prior to joining BRAC International, Ms Johnson worked at Helen Keller International as Regional Director Asia. She led and managed development work in the field of health and food systems in seven countries in Asia. She has previously also worked for Center for Child rights, Olof Palme International Center (OPC) and the Sweden Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
