José Jorge Monteiro

José Jorge Monteiro currently serves as an Analista de Planejamento Pleno at Bracell, where responsibilities include developing and implementing the annual harvest and transport plan for the Bahia unit, along with creating harvest budgets using linear programming. With previous experience as a Forest Engineer Trainee at Bracell, José also contributed to annual budget development for harvesting activities. Academic pursuits include a master's research project at Universidade de São Paulo, focusing on the effects of climate change on biomass in tropical forests. Prior work at Suzano involved developing land use maps through machine learning and optimizing forest management practices. José holds a bachelor’s degree in Forestry Engineering, a specialization in Silviculture, and is pursuing an MBA in Leadership and Productivity.
