Matt Lynch

Chief Product Officer & Co-Founder at Bractlet

Matt Lynch is the Chief Product Officer & Co-Founder at Bractlet. Matt has also worked as a Systems Engineering Intern at CNH and a Research Intern - Wind Turbine Design Optimization at University of Minnesota - Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power.

Matt Lynch conducted efficiency analysis & optimization of hydromechanical systems by creating dynamic models and using control techniques to simulate the operating conditions reflected in field test data of different vehicle systems while they were a Systems Engineering Intern at CNH. Matt also analyzed the simulation outputs to calculate overall energy efficiencies of the new systems and built software that worked as a logical operator to test the control software of the hydromechanical systems. The new software was meant to replace a human operator during initial testing avoiding the necessity to conduct a full field test.

As a Research Intern - Wind Turbine Design Optimization at University of Minnesota - Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power, Matt Lynch evaluated the effectiveness of a hydrostatic transmission as a solution to the unreliable and costly mechanical gearbox for wind turbines. Matt utilized modeling and control techniques to develop control algorithms for the dynamics of the new wind turbine gearbox design which allowed for the simultaneous prototyping of the test stand for the gearboxes by using the models to predict the necessary parameters of operation and design.

Matt Lynch's educational career began with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Matt then went on to study at the Georgia Tech Pacific Program at Victoria University of Wellington.

They are on a team with Brian Smith - CTO & Co-founder, Trey Bush - Director, Operations, and Decker Stanley - Director, Sales. Their manager is Alec Manfre, CEO & Co-Founder.
