Allen Lyons

Allen Lyons has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as a General Assistant at New View Publications. In 2012, they became a Student Manager at UNC Student Stores, where they developed a relational database and assisted with online orders and customer service. In 2014, Allen joined The Financial Risk Group as a Software Developer II, working on a software as a service project for financial institutions. Here, they designed and built a data warehouse, developed and maintained ETL processes, automated tasks using scripts, and managed server configurations. Since 2019, Allen has been working as a Data Engineer at Brad's Deals.

Allen Lyons attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2008 to 2014. Allen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information and Library Science during this time. Following that, from 2017 to 2018, they attended the same university again and studied Full Stack Web Development, but does not have a specified degree. Prior to their university education, Allen acquired a High School Diploma from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in the years 2008 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Allen has obtained several certifications. In October 2018, they obtained the "SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9" certification from SAS. Allen also has certifications in SQL at different levels, including "SQL (Basic)", "SQL (Intermediate)", and "SQL (Advanced)", all obtained from HackerRank in March 2022. Most recently, in February 2023, they obtained the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
