Kathleen Shannon

Kathleen Shannon's work experience begins in 2011 when they co-founded Braid Creative & Consulting, a company that specializes in branding, positioning, and business visioning for creative entrepreneurs and marketing teams. In this role as Co-Founder & Creative Director, they work closely with creatives from across the country, providing one-on-one guidance and also offers educational resources through the Braid ECourse. Kathleen helps their clients turn their ideas into a clear vision, align their personal brand with their professional work, and package their offerings to promote themselves confidently.

In 2015, Kathleen took on another role as Co-Host & Author for the Being Boss Podcast, which they co-host with Emily Thompson. The podcast is focused on empowering creative entrepreneurs and provides stories, advice, and interviews to help individuals embrace their unique identities and succeed in both their work and personal lives. Kathleen and Emily are known for sharing confidence and practical guidance from their own experiences, as well as featuring guest speakers who share their wisdom and expertise.

Kathleen Shannon earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Design and Visual Communications, General from the University of Oklahoma. Kathleen attended the university from 2000 to 2004.
