Dwijesh Bhageerutty

Dwijesh Bhageerutty has extensive experience in software development and management. Dwijesh is currently working as a Senior Software Developer at BrainBox AI since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Cerence Inc. as a Software Development Manager from December 2021 to February 2022 and as a Senior Software Developer from September 2019 to December 2021. At Cerence, they managed a team of 11 and was responsible for the technical aspects of software development projects.

Before joining Cerence, Dwijesh worked at Nuance Communications from February 2019 to September 2019 as a Senior Software Developer. During their time at Nuance, they progressed from a junior developer to a senior/lead developer, managing indirect reports on multiple projects. Dwijesh worked on Conversational AI projects, contributed to software development, project management, quality assurance, and conducted interviews and mentorship.

Prior to Nuance, Dwijesh gained research experience as a Research Assistant at McGill University from November 2013 to January 2015. Dwijesh also worked as a Teaching Assistant at McGill University from January 2014 to April 2014. Dwijesh was part of the Software Development Team Lead at McGill Robotics from September 2013 to July 2014.

Dwijesh also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the Laboratory for the Study of Metacognition and Advanced Learning Technologies from January 2013 to July 2013, and at the Software Evolution Research Group from May 2012 to July 2012.

Dwijesh started their career as an Intern at Orange in July 2011.

Throughout their career, Dwijesh has demonstrated expertise in software development, project management, team leadership, and technical skills. Dwijesh has worked with top automakers and has experience in web scraping, text mining, machine learning, and analysis of literary and cultural texts.

Dwijesh Bhageerutty obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from McGill University, which they attended from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Cambridge A-Levels in Science at Royal College Curepipe, which they attended from 2001 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Dwijesh Bhageerutty has acquired several certifications. Dwijesh earned the certification in "Mastering Global Financial Markets" from Udemy in October 2022, the certification in "Python for Financial Markets Analysis" from Udemy in August 2022, and the certification in "Advanced Python" from LinkedIn in June 2022. Dwijesh also obtained certifications in "Enterprise Architecture Foundations" and "Software Architecture Foundations" from LinkedIn in June 2020. Furthermore, they completed the "Build Your First Android App (Project-Centered Course)" from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2016.
