Sally Riewe Boyd

Sally Riewe Boyd currently serves as Associate Director of Research and Development and Senior Scientist at BRAINBox Solutions, Inc., focusing on the development of novel point-of-care diagnostics for Traumatic Brain Injury since February 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Biological Scientist and Biological Scientist at Florida Biologix, where responsibilities encompassed downstream process development, laboratory scale purification of small molecules, viral vectors, and monoclonal antibodies, as well as training junior staff in a cGMP environment. Sally also held the position of Laboratory Manager at the Department of Neurology, overseeing lab operations, training students, and maintaining equipment. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The University of Georgia and a Master's degree in Medical Science from the University of Florida College of Medicine.
