Thomas McOscar

Thomas McOscar has a diverse work experience. Thomas started their career as a Co Op at Sappi Fine Paper North America in 2012, where they gained experience with PLC's and production line equipment. After that, they worked as a Logistics Associate at Gap Inc./Old Navy, ensuring signage and marketing materials were in the right places. Thomas then joined Maine Bound Adventure Center as a Leader & Mechanic, leading outdoor trips and focusing on educating participants about the outdoors. Thomas also worked at the University of Maine as a Student Researcher, where they conducted experiments in the renewable polymers lab. Thomas then joined Nephron Pharmaceuticals as an R&D Chemist I, responsible for developing and implementing testing methods for drug products. Currently, Thomas is working at Braincube as a Data Architect Manager, where they oversee the management of data architectures.

Thomas McOscar earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the University of Maine in 2015. Thomas also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the same university during the same time period. In 2017, Thomas completed their education at the University of Maine by obtaining a Master's degree in Chemistry. In addition to their formal education, Thomas earned the NCEES Certified Engineer in Training certification from the University of Maine in March 2014. Thomas also obtained certification as an Emergency Medical Technician: Basic from Eastern Maine Community College in March 2014.
