Menno de Bree

Menno de Bree is an experienced professional with a diverse portfolio in philosophy and medical ethics. Since 2013, Menno has been the Owner of Menno Denkt, providing lectures, masterclasses, and training for professionals. Menno serves as a Senior Lecturer at Brainfeed, delivering two-day philosophy courses, and as a Speaker for Athenas. Additionally, Menno works as a Columnist and essayist for Financieele Dagblad and contributes sporadically to OOG TV’s program Glasnost. From 2003 to 2023, Menno held the position of Medical Ethicist and Philosopher at UMCG, focusing on medical ethics education and critical thinking. Previous roles include membership on the Medical Ethics Review Board at Stichting Beoordeling Ethiek Biomedisch Onderzoek and visiting professorships at Yeditepe University and St. George's University. Menno holds an MA in Philosophy from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, obtained from 1993 to 2002.
