Eric Anderson is the current PMO Manager at BrainGu. Prior to this, they were a Computer Scientist at JDSAT Operations Research & Big Data Sciences, where they created an architectural proposal that supported big data architecture paradigms and analytics, and designed a software developmental roadmap for two different computer simulation programs. Eric also updated behavioral methods of an agent-based computer simulation model and developed a Graphic User Interface (GUI) prototype for a computer simulation program.

Before their time at JDSAT, Eric was the Cyber Program Chief Engineer at the Defense Information Systems Agency from July 2016 to June 2019. In this role, they led a team of federal employees and contractors in all technical efforts to maintain and improve the Defensive Cyber Operational (DCO) capability of the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Enterprise Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM). Eric directed the development, testing, authorization & accreditation, and deployment of software releases and/or patches. Eric initiated and actioned continuous cyber assessments and analysis of stakeholder requirements, leading to the procurement, deployment, and integration of next-generation software with existing cyber products, to include interoperability with DoD critical analytic solutions. Eric also executed a special assignment to Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS).

During their time at DISA, Eric made key contributions that resulted in a 6000% increase in mission performance, as well as the procurement and deployment of DISA’s Next Generation SIEM three months ahead of schedule. Eric also led a task force for JRSS to design its next-generation SIEM. In addition, they authored Summary of Analysis: Joint Regional Security Stack’s Next Generation Security Information Event Management, JRSS’s SIEM Request for Information, Request for Quote, Performance Work Statement, Brand Name Acquisition Justification, and Electronic Products Procurement List; efforts that resulted in the creation of five contract vehicles worth $227 million.

Eric Anderson graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Eric then attended the Naval Postgraduate School, where they earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science - Autonomous Systems. Eric has also attended the Command and Staff School at the U.S. Naval War College and the Expeditionary Warfare School (Non-Resident) at Marine Corps University.
