Derek Bengtson has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Derek'smost recent position is with Ingenuity Brands, where they serve as the Sr. Director Team Lead- Strategic Accounts. Derek is responsible for leading a team focused on improving consumer's brain health and wellness through science-based products. Prior to this, they worked as Chief Innovation Officer at Can Do Company LLC (CDC) and Vice President Retail Sales at No-H2O. In these roles, they were involved in health and wellness coaching, consulting, and collaborating on innovative solutions. Derek Bengtson also has extensive experience in sales and merchandising, having held executive positions at Club Marketing Services and CROSSMARK. Derek began their career as a Territory Sales Manager at E. & J. Gallo Winery, where they excelled in providing product solutions for retail grocery accounts.
Derek Bengtson completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Marketing and Management from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business between 1988 to 1991. Following this, they pursued their Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business during the period of 2004 to 2006.
