SALARY: 21 000 - 31 000 PLN gross/monthly

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Mobile Infrastructure Engineer is an exciting role at Brainly that allows you to contribute to our infrastructure and our product. Your primary team is our Mobile Infra team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining frameworks, automation, tooling, and infrastructure that help our product teams produce amazing mobile applications in Android and iOS using native or cross platform solutions like React Native, KMM or Flutter. When working with Mobile Infra, you will work on essential and well-defined projects that many engineering teams will use to help them build secure and scalable solutions for both mobile platforms Android and iOS. The Senior Mobile Infrastructure Engineer will also work with our product Android and iOS teams to deliver new and exciting products to our users. These “deployments” will last up to six months but can be as short as a sprint or two. Lastly, you will help design and participate in hackathons, conferences, and our new technology blog. This role is ideal for engineers who love new challenges and working across departments and teams and have knowledge about Android, iOS and cross platform solutions like React Native, KMM or Flutter.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Improve the developer experience
• Embed and work directly with our product teams
• Maintain our Mobile Infra KPIs and Dashboards
• Be a major contributor to our future frameworks and automation
• Have experience of cross platform solutions like React Native, KMM or Flutter.
• Collaborate with other software engineers to create new tools and improve processes to deliver products and ensure high reliability and performance.
• Conduct code reviews, contributing high-quality documentation, and building robust test suites for your features.

WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT CANDIDATE

• 4+ years of professional enterprise experience in Android or iOS apps development
• Knowledge of Android or iOS platform (system libraries, lifecycle, good practices, tools)
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous deployment in Android or iOS
• Ability to brainstorm and co-create new solutions, both business and technical
• Experience in Unit/UI testing
• Experience in releasing Android/iOS applications to Apple App Store/Google Play Store
• Fluency in Kotlin / Swift
• Experience with cross platform solutions like React Native, KMM or Flutter
• Experience with Gradle / Cocoapods, Swift Package Manager
• Interest in TDD and experience using testing to fix and refactor problems in legacy applications (smoke testing, integration testing, UI testing, end to end testing)
• Experience with diagnosing technical problems, debugging complex problems across the whole stack, and automating routine tasks
• Computer science fundamentals - data structures and design patterns
• Familiarity with agile development and lean principles
• Ability to evaluate technologies against technical and non-technical requirements
• Focus on the needs of our users, both internal and external
• Fluency in English
• Team player attitude and clear communications skills
• Analytical approach to solving complex problems, creativity to come up with original ideas and solutions
• High level of self-organization and ability to make your own decisions
• Great communications skills and ability to learn fast
• Capability to help people and be proactive finding solutions

WHAT WILL BE NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Fastlane, Firebase
• Capability to identify problems and propose solutions
• Knowledge of Objective-C
• Knowledge of Python
