Jackie Glassman

Jackie Glassman has had a diverse work experience in the field of writing and content development. Jackie started their career at Creative Curriculum Initiative as a Freelance Writer and Editor. From there, they worked at Roads to Success as a Freelance Writer before joining Benchmark Education Company as a Freelance Writer and Editor, where they wrote various materials for different grades and developed assessment books. Jackie also freelanced for Girl Scouts of the USA as a Writer before joining Sesame Workshop as a Freelance Editor, where they worked for over a decade. Jackie then worked at Six Red Marbles as a Freelance Writer and at HarperCollins Publishers as a Freelance Writer. Jackie subsequently joined Scholastic Inc as a Writer, where they developed online skills sheets and wrote parenting articles. After that, they worked at Heinemann Publishing as a Freelance Writer. Currently, Jackie is working at BrainPOP as a Director of Educator Content, leading the development of educator resources and previously held the role of Supervising Editor and Senior Writer/Content Developer at the same company.

Jackie Glassman completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont from 1987 to 1991. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Instructional Technology from Teachers College, Columbia University, which they completed by 1998.
