Jennifer Padgett

Jennifer Padgett is an experienced education professional with a focus on literacy and reading instruction. Currently serving as a Brainspring Instructor at Brainspring Orton-Gillingham since September 2020, Jennifer previously worked as a Reading Specialist at Learning Ally from November 2015 to September 2022, where responsibilities included screening for reading disabilities such as dyslexia and Irlen Syndrome. At RSU 10 School District, Jennifer held the role of Structured Literacy Specialist, transitioning from a reading recovery teacher to implementing the Orton-Gillingham approach, leading intervention teams, and consulting with educators on literacy best practices. Additional teaching experience includes positions as an Adjunct Lecturer at Central Maine Community College and a College Writing instructor at the University of Maine-Farmington. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English/Social Science from Evangel University and multiple master's degrees, including one in Literacy/Language Arts from New England College.
