Abdi Timer

Abdi Timer is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently serving as an Advisory Data Scientist at IBM since December 2021, Abdi has also taken on roles as an AI Curriculum Advisor and Lead AI Instructor at BrainStation starting in December 2023. Previous experience includes working as a Data Scientist at Capco from November 2020 to December 2021 and as a Machine Learning Engineer and Innovation Analyst at Legal & General from January 2018 to November 2020. Abdi Timer is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Birmingham, where previous academic qualifications include a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (BEng) in Engineering.
