Laurence Day

Laurence Day is a data science professional with extensive experience in leadership and innovative product development. Currently serving as Data Science Team Lead at Brambles since February 2021, Laurence has successfully overseen the creation of a product that enhances contact capabilities for asset collection, generating over $15 million in net cash benefits. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Scientist at CarFinance 247, where Laurence implemented advanced machine learning techniques to drive significant profit increases, and as a Graduate Data Scientist at THG, where a novel recommendation algorithm was developed. Laurence also has a background as a Door Supervisor at FGH Security Ltd and has pursued education in Physics with Astrophysics at Lancaster University, currently advancing in Management studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
