Tomer Gazit

Tomer Gazit, PhD, is an experienced professional in the fields of data science, analytics, and neuroscience. Tomer is currently working at Hello Heart as the Data Science and Analytics Team Lead since February 2021. Prior to that, they were a Data Science Researcher at Hello Heart from July 2020 to February 2021. Tomer also served as a Lecturer at Tel Aviv University from April 2019 to July 2020. Tomer has extensive experience at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, where they held various roles including Head of Brain Informatics and Imaging Lab from January 2016 to July 2020, Data Scientist from January 2013 to January 2016, and Software Developer from January 2011 to January 2013. Tomer began their career at Bar-Ilan University, where they worked as a University Teacher from January 2009 to May 2020 and Teaching Assistant from January 2007 to January 2009. Tomer specialized in computational courses for undergraduate and graduate studies in neuroscience, focusing on machine learning, linear algebra, probability, and calculus.

Tomer Gazit, PhD, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Psychology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2001 to 2004. Tomer continued their education at Bar-Ilan University, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Neuroscience from 2005 to 2011.
