Sheila Gatonga

Sheila Gatonga is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations, eCommerce, and customer experience management across various industries. Currently serving as Head of Operations for East Africa at Branch International since August 2024, Sheila is responsible for designing and implementing business strategies and overseeing daily operations. Previously, as Head of eCommerce at Naivas Limited (October 2021 - August 2024), Sheila managed comprehensive aspects of the eCommerce business including web design and marketing strategies. Their background also includes significant roles at Safaricom PLC, JUMIA Kenya, and Citibank N.A., where Sheila demonstrated expertise in operations leadership, customer experience optimization, and credit risk management across different markets. Sheila holds a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi.
