Dmitri Gaskin

Dmitri Gaskin is a software engineer and the Co-Founder & Director of Discovery at Branch. Dmitri has over 10 years of experience in the industry, having worked with companies such as Kindred Prints, Mapbox, and the Drupal Community.

Dmitri started their career in 2006 as a contributor to the Drupal Community. In 2010, they began working as a programmer for Mapbox (formerly Development Seed), where they worked on various projects, including Drupal module development, frontend and backend development for TileMill, and text rendering in WebGL. Dmitri left Mapbox in 2011 to join Kindred Prints as a software engineer.

At Kindred Prints, Dmitri was responsible for building a semi-viral "photo mosaic" Facebook app and rewriting backend systems to support a new photo format and ordering flow. Dmitri left Kindred Prints in 2014 to co-found Branch, where they currently serve as the Director of Discovery.

Dmitri Gaskin attended Stanford University, where they earned a degree in Symbolic Systems.
