Umesh Unnikrishnan

Umesh Unnikrishnan is the Vice President of Product Management at Branch. Umesh has also served as the Head of Product for Ad Solutions at Pinterest. Unnikrishnan has been with Branch since August 2018 and with Pinterest since February 2017.

At Branch, Unnikrishnan is responsible for product management. Umesh oversees a team of product managers and sets the product strategy for the company. Umesh's team is responsible for building and scaling the performance ads business for Pinterest. This includes keyword-based search ads and feed-based shopping ads. In their time at Pinterest, Unnikrishnan has also taken over the teams that work on other ad products, including video ads and promoted app pins.

Unnikrishnan has a long history of success in product management. Umesh has overseen the growth of both Pinterest's ad business and Branch's performance ads business. Umesh has also managed a team of product managers and successfully launched several new products.

Umesh Unnikrishnan has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Umesh also has a high school diploma from International Indian School, Dammam.

They are on a team with Eric Stein - EVP & GM, Cathleen Hartge - VP, Legal, and Dmitri Gaskin - Co-Founder & Director, Discovery. Umesh Unnikrishnan reports to Alex Austin, Co-Founder & CEO.
