We have ambitious plans for 2024 and are looking for an (Junior) Account Manager to join our dynamic, high-performing Mercedes-Benz Trucks Sales team in Gelsenkirchen Germany or Manchester United Kingdom.

What will you be doing:

  • Acting as the public face and point of contact for our client Mercedes-Benz Trucks merchandise program across their network (France, BeLux, Germany and other markets)
  • Actively networking and growing the profile of the merchandise program both onsite and online
  • Working and communicating with client stakeholders across all regions to ensure expectations are met and briefs are executed
  • Leading the direction and development of the product range, incorporating merchandising principles and sourcing expertise
  • Liaising with internal web development teams to maintain and continuously improve the online store
  • Support the internal account management team with special order requests
  • Assist the Account Director with the production and presentation of quarterly business reviews
  • Co-ordinate and execute pop-up store requirements as required globally
  • Position the merchandise store as a key component of event support, always with a consultative and hospitality driven approach

Requirements:

  • Proficient in English, ideally German and/or French.

  • Preferred business studies / University degree or relevant experience.

  • Experience in a sales or marketing position.

  • Organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment where the customer is at the center of our focus and decisions.

  • Positive attitude and hands-on mentality.

  • Excellent IT skills plus basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to travel frequently and driver’s license.
