Michael van Vlimmeren

Michael van Vlimmeren has extensive work experience in the field of business intelligence and data analytics. Michael started their career in 2007 as a Principal Consultant at Valid, where they worked until 2015. During this time, they gained expertise in business intelligence and rose to the position of Senior Consultant Data & Analytics / Area Lead Power BI at Rubicon, where they worked from May 2015 to December 2020.

In between these roles, Michael also worked as a Business Intelligence Auditor at AZL for a brief period in 2015. Michael then joined UMC Utrecht as a Business Intelligence Consultant from July 2015 to June 2016, followed by a role as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Sweco Nederland from July 2016 to May 2017.

After that, Michael joined The HEINEKEN Company where they worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst and Power BI consultant from May 2017 to December 2019. Michael then worked at Vesting Finance as a Business Intelligence Solutions Architect from November 2019 to April 2020.

In 2020, Michael had two more roles: as a Power BI adoption consultant at PGGM from March 2020 to May 2020, and as a BI Translator/BI Analyst at Rabobank from July 2020 to December 2020.

Michael's most recent position is as a Senior Business Analyst at Brand Masters BV, where they started in January 2021.

Michael van Vlimmeren has a diverse education history. Michael obtained an Associate's degree in Business Information management from NCOI Business School, which they attended from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Masterclass in Business Management at Avansplus, where they studied from 2005 to 2006.
