Joao Rodrigues Jr

Joao Rodrigues Jr is currently serving as the Lead System Specialist at Shields Health since May 2021, where responsibilities include participating in weekly huddle calls with stakeholders to enhance workflow and patient care, as well as assisting with various administrative tasks. Concurrently, Joao has been an Undergraduate Admissions Front Desk Staff at Brandeis University since January 2019, managing check-in procedures for over 8,000 visitors and handling initial contact for inquiries. Joao also works as a Community Advisor in the Department of Community Living, providing support and programming to over 50 residents after completing training in mental health awareness and crisis response. Previous experience includes a remote internship with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health in the Division of Violence and Injury Prevention, and as a Summer Camp Counselor for SABURA, where Joao developed communication and relationship-building skills. Joao holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health: Science, Society, and Policy from Brandeis University, and graduated from Brockton High School in 2017.
