Casey Nelson

Casey Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In February 2023, Casey joined Brandes Associates Inc. as a Senior System Engineer - Sensor, where they applied systems engineering knowledge to develop requirements and specifications for Naval acquisition programs. They also conducted research and trade studies to validate requirements, identified system requirements for correction and designs for EW systems, and tested and validated operational flight programs. Prior to this role, Casey worked as a Principal Electrical Engineer at Northrop Grumman from September 2020 to October 2022. They also had experience as a Test Engineer at Panasonic Automotive, where they adhered to advanced technology product development processes and executed Root Cause Analysis. Casey started their career as an Audio Engineer Intern at 11th Street Studios, gaining skills in audio engineering, signal flow, Pro Tools, and problem-solving. They also worked as a MIDI Lab Technician at the FAMU Institute of Music Research and Music Industries Studies and as an Engineer Technician Intern at 1 Source Entertainment.

Casey Nelson graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2014. In addition, Casey also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Industry Studies from the same university, which was completed in 2013.

Furthermore, Casey has obtained additional certifications, including completing the Intel® SoC FPGAs Workshop Course and the Verilog HDL Advanced Course from Intel Corporation in November 2022.
