Chandana Dariju

Chandana Dariju is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and sustainability within the apparel industry. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Sustainability at Hela Apparel Holdings since June 2023, Chandana has previously held key roles at Brandix Essentials since September 2005, including Industrial Engineering Manager and Senior General Manager of Manufacturing Technology, focusing on factory performance, skill enhancement, automation projects, and maintenance management. Chandana has also held leadership positions such as Head of Manufacturing Technology and COO of Technical Services at Hirdaramani Group from December 2017 to September 2019. Educational qualifications include a National Diploma in Technology from the University of Moratuwa, a Master of Science in Project Management from Asia e University, an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Engineering from the National Institute of Business Management in Sri Lanka, and an MBA from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.
