Matthew Shalk

Matthew has 20 years of experience in quality assurance/performance improvement, patient safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance in the behavioral and mental health fields. A former Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Coordinator for Nemours, and the former Director of Performance Improvement and Risk Management at MeadowWood Behavioral Health System, Matthew has extensive administrative and operational experience working with both adult and adolescent populations in inpatient and outpatient settings.

In addition to post-secondary education, Matthew is an NAHQ Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and a CIHQ Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP), and is skilled in system and policy design, data and risk analysis, and survey management.
