Wing-On Ng

Wing-On (Jacky) Ng is a highly experienced scientist specializing in metabolic engineering and genetic technologies. Currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Braskem America since April 2024, Wing-On has previously held the same title at eGenesis, Inc., where the focus was on building large DNA constructs and optimizing DNA assembly processes. Wing-On's expertise includes assay development, protein optimization, and strain development, accumulated through significant roles at organizations such as Joyn Bio, Ginkgo Bioworks, and Algenol Biofuels. Educational background includes a PhD in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Horticultural Science and Technology from Purdue University.
