Sid Berkstresser

Sid Berkstresser has extensive experience in facilities management and engineering, highlighted by a current part-time position at Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa since April 2013. Previously, Sid served as Facilities Manager at In Transition from November 2011 to April 2013 and spent 15 years as Assistant Facility Manager at Grubb & Ellis Management Services, where responsibilities included managing daily operations, overseeing preventive maintenance, and supervising repairs. Sid's career began as a Manufacturing Engineer at Newport News Shipbuilding (1976-1979) and advanced to Director of Industrial Engineering at John H. Harland Company (1980-1996). Education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Auburn University and additional studies at Georgia State University.
