Amy Robbin has a diverse range of work experience in the field of Human Resources. Amy began their career in 1990 at Computervision, where they worked in Human Resources until 1994. Amy then moved to Pacific Scientific, where they worked as a Human Resources specialist from 1995 to 1998. Amy then joined SeaChange International, where they held various roles including HR Representative/Generalist, HR Manager, and Manager of Compensation, Benefits & HRIS. During their time at SeaChange International, they successfully implemented a new HRIS system and spearheaded the adoption of the ADP E-Pay system. In 2013, Amy joined GFA Federal Credit Union as an Employee Relations Officer/Human Resources Director, responsible for all aspects of HR for 9 branches. Amy implemented ADP Workforce Now and negotiated benefit renewals. In 2015, Amy started their own consulting business, providing HR support on a contract basis, with recent clients including The Brattleboro Retreat and Advanced Cable Ties, Inc. Amy's most recent role is as the Benefits Manager at The Brattleboro Retreat, where they started in November 2016.

Amy Robbin received their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Lesley University, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended the Computer Learning Center's Burdett School of Business from 1985 to 1986, where they pursued Accounting and Administration studies. In addition to their formal education, Amy has also obtained certification as a Massachusetts Horseback Riding Instructor from the Massachusetts Department of Agriculture, although the specific details regarding the month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
