Joan Querol has extensive experience in the fashion industry, specifically in the field of menswear design. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Men Designer at Zara, where they focused on accessories design. Joan then joined ESPRIT as an Accessories Designer before moving on to Peek & Cloppenburg - REVIEW -, where they held the position of Men Fashion Design Manager. In this role, they were responsible for fabric sourcing, liaising with suppliers, and traveling for international research and fairs.
Querol then moved to Mango and worked as the Head Designer for the complete tailoring department at MANGO MAN. Joan also coordinated the SUIT collection and brought the latest fashion trends to the entire MANGO MAN menswear line.
Joan continued their career as the Head Designer at HENCE STUDIO, during which they built up the brand from scratch, opened five international stores, and launched the brand's online platform.
Following this, Querol worked as a Creative Director at The Brubaker, a Spanish menswear brand, where they offered high-quality, made in Spain products at an affordable price. Joan then became a Fashion Consultant and Creative Director at Self-Employed, leveraging their more than 15 years of international experience in the industry.
Querol later joined E. FUREST SA as the Director de arte, and most recently, they are the Head Designer for both men and women at Brava Fabrics, a sustainable lifestyle and fashion brand based in Barcelona. In this position, they develop unique and conscious designs for a global clientele.
Joan Querol attended ESDI (Superior School of Design) Barcelona from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Fashion Degree with a specialization in Fashion.
