Rory Manchee has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Rory started their professional career as the Head of Business Development at Standard & Poor's Superannuation Nominees Pty Ltd, where they focused on investment strategy, risk management, compliance, and superannuation funds. Subsequently, they worked at S&P Capital IQ as a Strategy and Business Development professional, driving revenue growth for nine years. Rory then joined Crown Content Pty Ltd as a Business Development Consultant, where they contributed to the publication of biographical data and directories. In 2014, they joined Bravo Consulting Group as a Strategy and Business Development Consultant. Following that, Rory worked at Roy Morgan Research as a Business Development Consultant in the financial services sector. Rory Manchee has a diverse education history spanning several decades. In 1972, they began their educational journey at St. Olave's Grammar School, where they remained until 1979. From 1971 to 1973, they also attended Pulteney Grammar School.

In 1980, Rory enrolled at the University of Leeds and pursued a Bachelor of Laws degree, completing it in 1983 with honors (LLB Hons) in the field of Law. Following this, in 1989, they attended the University of Westminster, where they studied Introduction to Editing and Journalism under the School of Media Studies.

Rory's educational pursuits continued as they acquired specialized training in various areas. In 1990, they attended The Publishing Training Centre (Book House) in London, focusing on Editorial Management. In 1992, Rory joined the Thomson Corporation Publishers' Programme, expanding their knowledge in the publishing industry. Additionally, they participated in the Thomson Corporation Management Development Programme at Hult Ashridge in 1993.

Later, Rory engaged in further professional development opportunities. Rory participated in the Leadership Foundations Program at Leadership Victoria in 2009. In 2003, Rory completed the Leadership Development Program at the Melbourne Business School in Mt. Eliza. Rory also undertook the Leading Globally program at INSEAD in 2006, emphasizing International Business.

Furthermore, Rory acknowledged the importance of financial expertise and achieved a Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance, specifically focusing on Debt Capital Markets at UNSW in 2004. Additionally, in 2000, they attended the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business for Strategic Planning and Implementation (Hong Kong).
