Ted Morrison

Ted Morrison has been working in the field of data engineering since 2009. Ted'sfirst job was as a Signals Intelligence Cryptologist at the National Security Agency, where they were a shift lead for the NSA Weapons and Space Department watch. In 2016, they were an Electrical Engineer Intern at Orbital ATK, where they developed electrical cable designs for launch vehicles and automated software processes for routine health checks. Ted then worked as a Machine Learning Team Lead at General Dynamics Mission Systems in 2017, leading a team of 5 to develop machine learning classification software package for raw data processing. In 2018, they became a Data Engineer at the U.S. Soccer Federation, where they worked to have an impact of magnitude on analytical operations, commercial, and sporting sides of the company. Ted then worked as a Data Engineer at Lighthouse in 2019, where they architected and built (with Microsoft Azure) cloud-based AI/analytical driven pipelines. In 2019, they also became a Computer Science Academic Associate at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, where they served as an industry mentor for computer science, informatics, and computer engineering seniors. In 2020, they became a Data Engineer at AbleTo Inc. and in 2021, they became a Senior Data Engineer at Shamrock Foods Company and Barings. Currently, they are a Senior Data Engineer at Bravely.

Ted Morrison has a comprehensive educational background. Ted obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Systems Engineering from Arizona State University between 2014 and 2017. Ted then attended Mesa Community College, where they obtained a Computer Systems Engineering MAPP degree in 2014. Ted is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science - Machine Learning at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they began in 2020. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Developing Your Emotional Intelligence from LinkedIn in February 2020.
