Mike Green

Mike Green has over 40 years of experience in the mining and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Engineering Services Manager at Brazos River Authority since October 2019, Mike's prior roles include Manager of Mining Services at Johnson & Pace Incorporated and various engineering positions at NRG Energy, Luminant, Alcoa, and Northwestern Resources Co. Mike has expertise in mine planning, project management, and contract administration, with significant contributions to surface lignite coal and phosphate mining operations. A graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering, Mike's career is marked by strategic planning and engineering leadership across multiple mining projects.
