Olivier Buisine

Olivier Buisine is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as Strategic Sourcing Manager at BRB International B.V., focusing on silicones and tolling management. Previously, Olivier held various roles at Solvay from 2001 to 2022, including Program Manager for Batteries, where significant contributions were made to the development of battery additives and the establishment of a new laboratory in Seoul. Prior experience includes positions in research and development and organic chemistry technologies at Rhodia and ONERA, along with a background in polymer science. Academically, Olivier holds a post-doctorate in organic chemistry from Université catholique de Louvain and a doctorate from Pierre and Marie Curie University, complemented by additional degrees in engineering and chemistry.
