Mitchel K. has been working in the IT security field since 2014. Mitchel started their career at DongIT as a Junior Programmer and Programmer (Graduate Thesis) in 2014, where they researched and developed a static code analyzer for the scripting language PHP. In 2015, they worked as an IT Security Consultant at ING and a Security Consultant at Podictive IT Security & Advisory services. In 2019, they began working as a Chief Security Researcher at BreachLock Inc, where they are responsible for security engagements such as Red Teaming, Penetration testing & IoT hacking as well as research and development of their pentesting-as-a-service (PTaas) and red-teaming-as-a-service (RTaaS) technology. Mitchel also provides trainings for pentest teams and performs security related research for the open source community. Additionally, in 2019 they began working as a Freelance, self-employed Software Developer. In 2014, they also worked as a Front-end WebDeveloper at Adaption Business Software.

Mitchel K. attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 2010 to 2015, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming. In 2016, they obtained the Offensive Security OSCP certification, and in 2017, they obtained the Offensive Security OSCE certification.
