Vishal Verma

Vishal Verma has a wealth of experience in the IT and Compliance sectors. Vishal began their career in 2008 as a System Specialist at IBM India Pvt ltd. where they worked on applications with financial significance and acted as a Compliance executive. In 2011, they joined Ernst & Young as a Consultant and performed many Major Statutory Audits for India's Leading Telecom Service Provider, as well as Lead Statutory Audits for Africa and Bangladesh Telecom Operators. Vishal also performed ITRA and ITFS Audits for Various Clients. Later that year, they joined Deloitte as a Senior Consultant and lead a Major SOC 2 engagement. Vishal then moved to DXC Technology in 2015, where they worked as Global Cloud Compliance Lead and Compliance Assurance Manager, providing solutions in IT Risk Strategy, Policy Review & Development, Data Security strategy, Integrated Control Framework implementation, and GRC implementation. In 2018, they joined IBM as a Senior Advisory Consultant, where they provided consulting services and capability demonstration of Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools, developed and managed GRC Automation Projects and Project Plans, and participated in Pre-Sales activities. Vishal is currently employed at BreachLock Inc., where they serve as Director of Client Success and Professional Services and Head of Delivery Management, Security & Compliance.

Vishal Verma's education history includes studying Science at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 2000 to 2004. Vishal also has a number of certifications, including PCI-DSS (Certified Payment Industry Security Implementor - CPISI) from SISA Information Security obtained in May 2016, AWS Certified Security - Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in July 2021, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in October 2020, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² obtained in June 2020, CISSP from (ISC)², ISO 27001:2005 LA from BSI, ITIL v3 from APMG International, PMP from Project Management Institute (PMI), RSA Archer Associate from RSA Security.
