Bread for the World
Zach Schmidt currently serves as Deputy Director and Regional Organizer at Bread for the World, a role held since September 2008, where responsibilities include building relationships with leaders in congressional districts, fostering strategic collaborations on hunger-related legislation, and empowering grassroots advocacy. Prior to this, Zach worked as a Social Worker for the McHenry County Latino Coalition from August 2006 to September 2008, focusing on youth support and resource access for under-resourced populations. Zach holds a Master's degree in Biblical Studies and Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Bachelor's degree in Biblical and Theological Studies with an emphasis on Cross-Cultural Missions from Bethel University.
