Kristin Lowery

Kristin Lowery has a comprehensive work experience in the field of information security and IT risk management. Kristin currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Bread, a position they started in March 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Alliance Data from 2018 to 2022, where they held various positions including Chief Information Security Officer, Vice President, Chief IT & Data Risk Officer, and Senior Director, IT and Data Risk Officer.

Before joining Alliance Data, Kristin worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Executive Director - Cybersecurity from 2016 to 2018. Here, their role involved overseeing cybersecurity operations in a leading global financial services firm.

Kristin also gained extensive experience at Nationwide Insurance, where they held multiple roles over a span of twelve years. These roles included Associate Vice President, IT Engineering from 2013 to 2016, Associate Vice President, Information Risk Management from 2010 to 2013, Director, IT Architecture from 2008 to 2010, Solution Architect to Enterprise Internet Program from 2007 to 2008, NSC Solution Architect to Enterprise Applications from 2005 to 2007, and IT Consulting Architect from 2004 to 2005.

Kristin'searlier career started at Verizon Enterprise Solutions as a Senior Internet Product Engineer from 2000 to 2004, where they provided design, testing, and support for large revenue customers. Kristin began their professional journey at NCR Corporation in 1995 as a Technical Solutions Engineer (Network), being promoted to this role in 1997 for their ability to deliver complex network infrastructure designs.

Throughout their career, Kristin has consistently showcased their expertise in the areas of information security, IT risk management, infrastructure architecture, and complex design implementations.

Kristin Lowery obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Science in Communications Systems Management from Ohio University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Kristin later pursued their MBA with a focus in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix from 1998 to 2000. In addition to their degrees, Kristin Lowery also obtained a certification in "Becoming Indistractable" from LinkedIn in April 2020.
