The leadership team at Breakout Ventures has a wide range of experience in many different industries. They have worked as senior investment associates, postdoctoral fellows, consultants, and board members/investors for companies such as Ascension Ventures, The BALSA Group, STRM.BIO, Parthenon Therapeutics, Checkerspot, Inc., Immusoft Corporation, Phylagen, Cytovale, Thiel Foundation, The Alexander Group, Highway1, Indiegogo, and Airship Ventures, Inc. They have also been bookeepers and customer service representatives for companies such as Safeway. In terms of education, the team has degrees from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Carthage College, University of Virginia, and California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
