Sarah Williams

Sarah Williams has extensive work experience in the construction and development industry. Sarah started their career at Equity Management Inc. in 1999, where they worked in contract management and finance until 2001. Sarah then joined BJ&K Construction as a project accountant before moving into the role of estimator from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, Sarah joined Suffolk Construction as a construction estimator until 2008. Sarah then joined DPR Construction as a preconstruction manager, overseeing projects from 2008 to 2021. During their time at DPR Construction, Sarah also worked as a project engineer from 2011 to 2013. Currently, they are working at Breakthrough Properties as the director of development and project management since June 2021, and they recently took on the role of senior director of design and construction on the West Coast starting in December 2022.

Sarah Williams received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from UC San Diego from 1995 to 1999. Sarah then pursued their Master of Science degree in Construction Management from Florida International University from 2004 to 2006. Sarah also earned a Real Estate Finance, Investments and Development Certificate from the University of San Diego, attending from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Mechanical Estimating and a Certificate in Electrical Estimating from Florida Atlantic University, although the specific years of completion are unknown. Currently, Sarah is working towards a Certificate in Facilities Planning and Management at UC San Diego Extended Studies, expected to be completed from 2020 to 2022.
