Joy Kuo is a Market Research Intern at Breakthrough Research since October 2023 and has held various roles in market research and campaign strategy. At the American Advertising Federation: UCSD (Adwave), Joy served as Director of Market Research and Campaign Strategy, leading a team of six market research analysts to develop insights on audience segmentation and brand positioning. In a previous position as a Market Research Analyst, Joy designed and analyzed a survey for the National Student Advertising Competition, delivering insights for major brands. Joy's experience also includes a Summer Sales Internship at San Jose Trading Company, where operational improvements and market research strategies were implemented to significantly boost ROI, customer satisfaction, and sales revenue. In addition to these roles, Joy has experience in retail and leadership positions in various student organizations, including serving as Marketing Director for the Irvington Neurodiversity Club and Student Life Editor for the school newspaper. Joy is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Psychology at UC San Diego, expected to graduate in December 2024.
