Andy Shin

Andy Shin is the Executive Director of Breakthrough San Francisco since 2008. Prior to that, Andy held the position of Education Pioneers Fellow at Summer Search in 2008. Andy also has experience as a Program Director at Breakthrough Greater Boston from 2004 to 2007. Andy began their career as a Math Teacher at The Steppingstone Foundation in early 2004 before moving on to teach Sixth Grade Math and Science through Teach For America from 1999 to 2003. Andy holds a EdM in School Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in Public Policy & American Institutions from Brown University.
