Daniel Sigai

Daniel Sigai is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the mortgage trading sector. Currently serving as Managing Director for Whole Loan Trading at Brean Capital, LLC since March 2021, Daniel previously held the role of Vice President and Senior Mortgage Trader at Union Bank, where responsibilities included hedging, TBA trading, and managing a retail pipeline exceeding $200 million monthly. Prior to that, Daniel was Vice President at Banc of Manhattan/Capital, focusing on residential mortgage correspondent lending and transaction management. Earlier career experience includes significant roles at IMPAC, where Daniel managed over $11 billion in whole loan trades, and State Street, where preparation of credit reviews and asset credit surveillance were key responsibilities. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Brown University and an Honors High School Diploma from Choate Rosemary Hall.
