Iya Tirona

Iya Tirona has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Iya currently holds the position of People and DAO Strategy Director at BreederDAO, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of People and DAO Strategy at BreederDAO from April 2022 to November 2022.

Before joining BreederDAO, Iya worked as the Head of People Operations at XLD from October 2021 to March 2022. Iya also served as an Operating Partner at MARK Business Consultancy and Services from January 2020 to December 2021, where they provided business and human resource consultations and training solutions.

Iya's earlier experience includes working as a Strategy and Special Projects Executive - Sales & Marketing at JARC Group of Companies from January 2018 to February 2020. In this role, they led strategic and operational initiatives, with a focus on driving people-focused initiatives and executing operational projects.

Iya Tirona holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching with a minor in Psychology from the University of the Philippines. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and ISO 9001 Foundation - Quality from AIG, in December 2008 and January 2007 respectively.
