Darren Giddy

Darren Giddy is an experienced quarry management professional, currently serving as the Quarry Manager at Potton Sand Quarry, part of Breedon Group plc since July 2017. Prior to this role, Darren has managed operations at Earls Barton Sand & Gravel Quarry and served as Assistant Manager at South Witham Limestone Quarry for Breedon Aggregates Ltd from January 2014 to 2016. Darren's career in the quarrying industry began at CREETON QUARRY LIMITED, where a position as Foreman was held from 1999 to 2014. Darren holds a Foundation degree in Mineral Extractives from the University of Derby, obtained between 2016 and 2019.
