Simon Bateman TMIQ is an accomplished Area Quarry Manager at The Mick George Group, with extensive experience in the quarrying sector since June 2016. Prior to this role, Simon Bateman served as Quarry Manager at Aggregate Industries UK from January 2007 to June 2016, where initial positions included Trainee Quarry Manager and Quarry Operative. With a solid educational foundation, Simon Bateman holds a foundation degree in Extractive Mineral and Processing Technology from the University of Derby, as well as a Level 4 Medium Risk Inert Landfill qualification from Wamitab. Additional certifications include a diploma in Quarrying Technology and various health and safety qualifications. Simon Bateman’s diverse expertise encompasses mobile plant operations, asphalt and aggregate design and testing, and laboratory testing of materials.
