Roberto Vavassori

Roberto Vavassori is a manager of just over 60 years of age, he joined Brembo in 1978 as a part-time employee and was hired as a manager in 1986. He is an Italian nationality, knowledge of English at mother-tongue level and German at a basic level. His entire career, after graduating and qualifying as a chartered accountant and auditor, took place in the automotive world at Brembo Group and in roles of increasing responsibility, especially in the multinational sphere.

In his various responsibilities, he has always worked closely with the ownership, the Board, and the CEO, depending on the tasks assigned. He is known and respected as an expert in the automotive sector, his dynamics and in particular the evolution of future trends and regulations, both within the industry community and the financial community. He is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars, including international ones.

He is aware of extra-sectoral and geopolitical trends and phenomena, in particular related to decarbonization and energy transition issues. He is familiar with the Italian, European, and international regulatory frameworks of the sector and regularly interacts with Italian and European legislative authorities. He can draft, read and interpret complex and strategic financial and business reports and plans. He is familiar with typical corporate development transactions and has actively participated in more than twenty acquisition transactions during his career.
