Max A. Higgins

Mr. Higgins is an associate in the new Encinitas office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara LLP. After graduating from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2005, he attended law school and received his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in San Diego. During law school, he received American Jurisprudence awards for academic achievement in both Trial Practice and Negotiations. Mr. Higgins became licensed in California in 2010.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Higgins gained practice experience in bankruptcy, collections, subrogation, workers’ compensation defense, wrongful termination, wage & hour disputes and construction defect litigation. He also squatted 909 lbs. in a national powerlifting competition (412.5 kg). His superior work ethic in competitive strength sports carried over into his professional career, using open communication with his adversaries and attention to detail to outwork his opponents.

Mr. Higgins is licensed to practice law in all state courts in California, as well as the US District Court of California, Southern District.
