Ben Lerude

Ben Lerude currently serves as a Legal Intern in the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice, a position held since June 2023. Previously, Ben was a Senior Analyst in Digital Operations at Sony Music Entertainment from June 2020 to July 2022. Prior to that, Ben worked at Darktrace from February 2018 to February 2020 as a Senior Cyber Defense Technology Specialist and Team Lead, where notable achievements included closing over 40 deals and generating more than $10 million in new revenue. Ben's earlier experience includes roles at Codecademy as a Contract Project Advisor, at Yale Associated Student Agencies as a Senior Manager, and at Big Machine Label Group as an Operations Intern. Ben holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Music from Yale University.
